What You Will Learn
Move beyond surface-level familiarity with these agents. This intensive boot camp delivers a rigorous, mechanistic, and clinically actionable curriculum — from incretin physiology to long-term weight maintenance strategies.
Incretin Physiology & Receptor Pharmacology
Gain command of GLP-1 receptor biology and understand the mechanistic distinctions between GLP-1 mono-agonists (semaglutide) and dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonists (tirzepatide). Build the science that underpins confident prescribing.
Patient Safety & Evidence-Based Titration
Master structured titration protocols and learn to identify absolute contraindications — including medullary thyroid carcinoma, MEN2, and acute pancreatitis. Reduce adverse event risk through validated clinical decision frameworks.
Weight Maintenance Without Reversal
Gain clinical insight into long-term management strategies that sustain target weight loss outcomes. Learn how to support patients through maintenance phases, prevent weight regain, and optimise cardiometabolic risk reduction over time.
Interactive Case Study Sessions
Participate in real-world case discussions that simulate clinical decision-making under pressure. Leave with the judgement and decision-making memory to act from day one — not after months of hesitation. These sessions are designed to build reflexive clinical confidence across the spectrum of obesity, T2DM, and cardiometabolic risk management.
Who Should Attend?
This boot camp is designed for clinicians encountering patients asking about semaglutide, tirzepatide, and related agents.
  • GPs seeking structured CME in metabolic medicine
  • Clinicians new to incretin-based therapies
  • Practitioners managing obesity, T2DM, and cardiometabolic risk
